[Build] Full Supportive Priest

Full Supportive Priest - PVE
As the name suggests, Full Supportive Priest is designed to support the team unreservedly. It plays an essential role in a team primarily due to its strong ability in healing and buffing. It excelled in the Relics Mastery. As a result, it does not generate a massive output.

The major output comes from:

  • Righteous Bolt
  • Lightning Relic
  • Holy Burst
  • Miracle Relic

Although Full Supportive Priest is generally insufficient in output, it is still the core component in high level dungeons because of the following features:

  • Miracle Relic and Protection Shell greatly helps to reduce the damage taken by the team;
  • Aura of Healing and Healing Relic can greatly recover team members' health in critical situation;
  • Blessing of Strikes and Blessing of Light can decently increase team's damage output;
  • Bind Relic and Paralyze Bolt help to control the overcrowded minions;
  • Lightning Relic can be used to distract monsters when the team is dealing with Boss.

Future prospect:
Full Supportive Priest will switch to Saint once it hits Lv. 45. Saint basically strengthens its ability to assist and its damage output.

With the strengthened Lightning Relic EX, it is believed that more Full Supportive Priests would give up their Lightning Mastery to trade for this EX skill because of its enhanced feature - Electric field within a range. However, there's an intrinsic difference between the effects in Lightning Relic and its EX skill. Firstly, the effect in Lightning Relic is to "electrocute" monsters, which would last for a while. On the other hand, Lightning Relic EX only induces the effect of "being electrocute", i.e. the moment when you see the skeletons of the monsters during electrocution, it only lasts for 1-2 seconds.

Furthermore, Shock of Relic has been a major boost for every Full Supportive Priest as it multiplies your damage with the number of Relics cast in the field.

On the other hand, Saint further enhances its ability on team assistance with Holy Shield.

Conclusion:
In a nutshell, Priest is always needed in a team. In order to play it well, you will need to pay attention to everyone in your team: consistently renew your team's buff, stay close to the vulnerable members and cast de-buff skills in the right time and place.

why do you need max mp heraldry?
when you use skills the mp consumption is by percentage example i use the skill heal it cost 50% mp even if i only got 10sp and you got 1M of sp same amount will be deducted 1/2 of the mp.

@DeathPorky
The MP cost of a skill refers to the basic MP %, which means your basic Intelligence x 35 (1 Intelligence = 35 MP). Noted that this basic MP will never change even with equipments or crests. Since this build has maximized Attuned Mind (extra 3% of the total MP), it would help to recover more MP every minute if you have a larger pool of MP. Yet, it might not be necessary if you choose to use potion.

Hi, your guide is awesome! i followed your lvl 40 cap guide, and i chose to take sp off lightning relic and used them to get chain lightning because i pvp sometimes and chain lightning is nice in pvp since it chases enemies within range and its eletricute chance is higher than other skills. its sometimes nice in pvp to interupt enemies moves with lightning. with all that i did, is it good? would it be worth it? does lightning relic increase chance of electricution at high lvl?
and another question; why didnt you get toughness skill from cleric tree?
Thanks.

Thanks! I guess you are after Inquisitor? If you prefer a PVP build, Chain Lightning is definitely a better option. It inflicts a better damage and higher chance to electrocute.

Lightning Relic would not increase the chance of electrocution at higher level. Also, there's an intrinsic difference between the effects in Lightning Relic and its EX skill.

I don't invest on Toughness because I used Lightning Relic as my main output. Monsters won't attack me, so I don't need that extra reduction in physical damage. However, if you are a PVP player, Toughness would be very useful in keeping you alive.

Hi Sharppolo,

I just started playing so I basically followed your build. My question is, with the T4 and level 50 cap update (for SEA), what changes would you make to your build above? I read that people are considering to leave Cure Relic at level 1 because the cool down remains the same for all levels and instead increase Bind Relic. What are your thoughts on that?

Thanks :)

Hi,

Sorry for my late reply. I have been busy working lately. In regard to your question, I am planning to review all my builds and update them as soon as possible. Hopefully they will be ready by this weekend.

By the way, thanks for your support. I really appreciate it. :)
